While working locums tenens (travel work for those in the medical field), many companies would put me up in a hotel. Frustrated, I found myself unable to do the things that helped me destress after a long shift: cooking or enjoying a glass of wine on the patio. Hotels also made long-term stays with my small child virtually unbearable as well. As I would get contracts across the globe, I would often look for alternative housing options that allowed me the luxury of being able to do all the things I would normally be able to do at my home as well as travel with my family at ease.

In cities I knew I'd return to, I began renting apartments to ensure I'd have a place I could call home to return to. Because it would be weeks at a time that I may be away in another state, I would get permission to rent my apartment to other traveling workers and health care providers. After a year, I realized this was a service many appreciated and a service that made a difference in their functioning level at work. 

From there, a company was born. We've focused on working with residential landlords or property owners via our master leasing partnership agreement, to provide homely dwellings mainly for those who travel for work. Through our partnerships, our landlords and property owners have had years of guaranteed rent while decreasing their hassle with tenants and the risks they often carry of delinquent payments, nonpayment, or eviction.
